Ten Injured in Queens Nightclub Shooting as Authorities Probe Gang-Related Violence

A violent shooting outside a crowded nightclub in Queens, New York, left ten people injured late Wednesday night. The New York Police Department confirmed that several gunmen opened fire on a group waiting to enter the venue, which was already at capacity with 90 people inside.

The incident occurred around 11:18 PM local time, when three to four men approached the line outside the club and fired over 30 rounds at those waiting. The victims, aged between 16 and 20, included six women and four men. All were hospitalized with injuries deemed non-life-threatening.

The attackers fled the scene on foot before escaping in a car with out-of-state license plates, according to police. Investigators are working to determine if the shooting is tied to gang disputes. Police Chief Philip Rivera emphasized that the incident is not being treated as an act of terrorism.

This shooting follows a series of recent violent incidents across the United States. On New Year’s Eve, a truck drove into a crowded street in New Orleans, killing 15 people. The same night in Las Vegas, a Tesla exploded outside a Trump Hotel, resulting in one death and seven injuries.
