Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said on Monday that they will determine when the war ends, responding to remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump that the conflict with Iran would “end soon.”
“We will decide when the war will end,” a spokesperson for the Revolutionary Guards said in a statement carried by several Iranian media outlets.
“The equation and the future status of the region are now in the hands of our armed forces. U.S. forces will not bring this war to an end,” the spokesperson added.
